“I was in prison and you visited me.” — Matthew 25:36–40

Jesus teaches us that love for Him is expressed through tangible love for people who are hungry, vulnerable, sick, strangers, or imprisoned. He identifies Himself so closely with “the least of these” that when we show them mercy, compassion, and care, we are serving Christ Himself.

Ekklesia is our calling from God to love and serve our brothers at Limon Correctional Facility.

We believe that every person bears the image of God and is worthy of dignity, compassion, truth, and hope. We enter the prison not simply to bring a message, but to build relationships, offer encouragement, share the love of Christ, and walk alongside our brothers as they seek restoration and new life.

We are the Church beyond the walls—called to remember, serve, and love those whom Christ has placed before us.
